Fingerprint recognition USB security key officially released

the near futureYubico has released YubiKey Bio to the public for the first time. This is the USB locking fingerprint scanning security key system that was first previewed to the world at the 2019 Microsoft Ignite conference. Now this key system has two interface versions, one is USB-A and the other is USB-C, both with fingerprint readers.

The YubiKey Bio series works together with FIDO protocol support, WebAuthn, and U2F. This new system adopts fingerprint authentication, replacing the PIN code of the previously released system. Meanwhile, if the user's fingerprint cannot be registered (due to unclean fingers or other similar strange situations), YubiKey Bio can also log in using the aforementioned PIN code.
